Briony Mason
(Please note, I currently have availability for online work only)
With a corporate background working within blue-chip organisations throughout the UK and Europe, I am experienced in working with people suffering the stress, anxiety and uncertainty that can afflict people working within pressurised, professional environments. I work extensively with people who are adept at demonstrating a capable and successful executive persona which often belies personal difficulties with relationships, stress, anxiety and panic attacks.
As a qualified Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, I specialise in Attachment-based issues which has at its heart the importance of relationships with others to our wellbeing and development. Following extensive training at The Bowlby Centre in central London, I have recently transferred my private practice from London to Tenterden and Rye. I work with adults and adolescents and sessions can be in person, online and also by telephone.
My clinical experience includes:
With a first degree in Computing and Systems Analysis, my previous career was within property and IT consultancy, incorporating commercial and change management with leading companies in the UK and Europe.
I am registered with the UKCP, have an enhanced DBS certificate in place and hold appropriate professional insurance.
